This is being tagged as a photocall, even though aesthetically it plays like a formal premiere, and I think three out of the four leads treated it as such. And they all picked black, which is a classic choice and therefore nothing SHOCKING, but it does also feel potentially coordinated? Is this just because witches typically wear black? Anyway, Maisie’s stylist procured a dress from Sandra’s own archive, which was described as “custom” but without a designer name. Apparently the red gown Maisie wore in yesterday’s post was also a reference to a Sandra outfit, but this is the ACTUAL gown. That’s a fun approach to this press tour and I can only hope Joey King will do it with some of Nicole’s more memorable gowns, because we need a break from sheers. PLEASE.
