Hello to all our Southern Californian readers! Heather and I are going to be part of a panel at The Ripped Bodice in Culver City this Thursday, March 23, at 7 p.m., and we’d love to see you there. As you can see from the flyer, this will be a panel discussion about “making art in the current political climate,” and we’re really excited to be appearing with such brainy and brilliant women as Sarah MacLean, Akela Cooper, Beth Scorzato, Alisha Rai, Sarah Kuhn, and Lindsay Ellis.

If you’d like to come, you can RSVP here. The event is free, and RSVPs are not required, but are appreciated so the ladies at The Ripped Bodice know how many chairs to get/how much booze to buy. FYI, we are not appearing at the Festival of Books this year (other than as festival goers) because we don’t have a new book out, so if you’re in LA and want to say hello, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!

For your GPS needs: The Ripped Bodice is located at 3806 Main St, Culver City, CA 90232. We hope to see you there!
