Leslie Mann secretly possesses one of the best red carpet retrospectives we’ve ever done. I hate to report that she’s fallen off a bit over the past few years. Not that she looks bad — she is always, inherently, reasonable — but simply that she has somewhat dialed it back since Covid. She is out and about at the moment promoting Spa Weekend — and honestly I hope Spa Weekend is a hit and we can get sequels called, like Hair Appointment and All Inclusive. (Actually, for real All Inclusive sounds legit — DO NOT STEAL THAT, ANYONE! TM TM TM TM ME!!!)
Where was I? I got distracted thinking about All Inclusive, a movie where Leslie Mann, Kristen Bell, and Mila Kunis and their dumb husbands (Stanley Tucci, Simu Liu, and Jake Johnson) go to an All Inclusive resort and all hell breaks humorously loose. Ah, yes: Spa Weekend promotional duties for Leslie Mann: She looks totally normal and completely reasonable and I’m sure she was charming on all the chat shows. Somewhere, Zendaya is saying, “oh, THAT’S who I loaned my favorite shoes to.”
