Lashana Lynch plays Rita Marley in the new biopic about Bob, One Love, alongside former Ken Kingsley Ben-Adir (right; Ziggy Marley is on the left). I think she looks gorgeous in that gown. It’s an eye-catching fabric and a funky shape, and please behold her beautiful earrings and makeup (and face):
She’s glowing, and carries off the dress’s volume with such ease. I’m still so annoyed that the Bond franchise punted on making her a proper 007. But she does have an adaptation of a Frederick Forsyth novel coming up, Day of the Jackal, in which an assassin recruited to kill Charles de Gaulle is played by… Eddie Redmayne? Hmm. Harumph, even. I’m going to scroll back up and bask in her dress again to clear my head.
