In which Kate tries color-blocking (or, I suppose, in her case, “colour-blocking”) AND the Great Cropped Wide Trousers Experiment Continues. The color-combo is very 90s Autumnal, the teeny Chanel bag continues to be real cute, the shoes are good, the whole thing has a real Crown Princess Mary feel, and I continue to be amused that Kate has gotten really, really bored of skirts. Business Kate is, if not always wholly successful, a fun change.
Ye Olde Fashione Credits: The trousers are from our friends at Jigsaw (they are on sale AND I think they look better on Kate than they do on the model?); the sweater is the work of John Lewis (per What Kate Wore) and the department store is showing them with a similar cut of pant; we’ve got shoes by Tod, which she’s worn before; and the teeny bag is, mais oui, Chanel (and also a re-carry, of course).
