First and foremost, this is a good blow-out. A really classic, uncomplicated, blow-out. It makes me want to go to DryBar. Second: That red look is good — and we all know that there are women out there who would have skipped the bra and given us all something to talk about. I think this might have looked better with a tank-style bra — something less BRA-y — but it’s unclear whether she knew this was as mildly sheer as it is.

This black dress and mules is extremely 1998. In a good way:

I owned the knock-off versions of all of this when I was fresh out of college, and this is a classic look for a reason. You could wear this to a funeral, you could wear it to a job interview, you could wear it to do some light insider trading, you could wear it to Halloween as an Audrey Hepburn costume with the right accessories. Versatile!

This is also a classic, although I think it’s perhaps got those clear plastic straps people sometimes use to hold up their tank tops even though they’re actually meant to attach said top to its hanger:

For one insane moment, I also thought it was pants…and I kind of wish it had been.

Kaia also stepped out with her co-star, Hayes Warner, who looks great here but also like she might be stealing Anya Taylor-Joy’s identity:

I will never be mad at a slip dress, though.
