This photo of Jessica Chastain and Michael Shannon is giving That Time Anne Hathaway Had to Host the Oscars With James Franco and I don’t know if that’s the energy anyone wants to be giving. (No disrespect to Michael Shannon, whom I believe to be a delight, although perhaps also a bit of a weirdo, and definitely — now that I think about it — a really bad choice to host the Oscars. Chastain would be perfectly reasonable, though.) Her dress is…fine? I like the color well enough. It’s not exactly underwhelming. But I may be simply whelmed.
The back is pretty good, though:
Very sexy. Very Amy-Adams-in-American Hustle, which is — as we discussed last week in the comments of this post! — a pretty great place to live. So we’ll leave it on a high note.
