This dress/coat combo is pretty cute — it’s very Victoriana by way of the 70s, which was, uh, also the way it looked in the 70s if my research (aka “having watched Almost Famous“) is accurate –but let’s all just admit that the real superstars of this moment are those women in the window behind her. I feel a profound kinship with the gleeful grin (and cute red lipstick) of the woman holding the phone. Listen, SOMEONE has to be in charge of getting a shot of the back of this look and sometimes if you want these things done right, you have to do them yourself.
