Okay. This dress is just…really cute. It’s Lela Rose (in fact, I pulled it when I was picking out items I’d like to see Duchess Kate wear; I feel like Kate would for sure benefit from a little bit of the Janelle Monae janelle sais quoi in her wardrobe) and I love it as much now as I did the first time I saw it. It’s charming as hell, and it looks great on her.
Additionally, when we covered Janelle’s look at the Palm Springs Film Festival yesterday, I neglected to show you her outerwear:
Polka dotted perfection. I want that coat in my closet right now. It’s like what Cruella deVil would wear if she underwent a complete personality 180 and decided to be entirely more joyous.
