It’s great that Katey Sagal won for Sons of Anarchy — I’ve never seen it, but I’ve heard she’s fantastic on that show, and I love it when an unsung cable show finally gets handed its first solo. And it was super cute how delighted Ed O’Neill looked when Peg Bundy got up to accept her award. It was so not Al of him.
If he had been Al, he’d have stood up and shouted, “It’s too bad your dress looks like it was sewn together by a surgical trainee with an eyepatch and nervous nausea.” I am super intrigued by the color and I like where this was going, but I’ve seen enough Grey’s Anatomy to know that this would probably spell malpractice. And then forgiveness after the summer hiatus, but whatever. The point is: oops. But because I’m still all warm and fuzzy about her and Al Bundy’s little moment of joy — even though I never liked that show — I’m going to put it up to a vote.
