# Glenn Close Brought a Doppelganger to All's Fair in NYC

I'm not sure why, exactly, but Glenn Close clearly *planned* to attend this premiere with [Alexis Stone](https://www.instagram.com/thealexisstone/?hl=en&ref=gofugyourself.com) – a drag queen and expert lookalike who uses prosthetic makeup; if you recall a kerfuffle over whether a recent photo was of Jim Carrey, [it was in fact of her](https://www.instagram.com/p/DVWs5RNDHSz/?hl=en&img%5Findex=1&ref=gofugyourself.com). She's also done Glenn at Fashion Week before, [clad in the actual Cruella de Vil wig](https://www.instagram.com/p/DR0EVxaEnH9/?hl=en&ref=gofugyourself.com). As there is NO way Alexis could have guessed at what Glenn would wear, they must have coordinated; my pet theory, which may be disproven by the time you read this, is that Glenn wasn't sure she could come due to her hip surgery and so they always planned to send Alexis in her place – and then when Glenn recovered enough, they went in tandem. Regardless, it's entertaining. Imagine if *all* of these women had come with a double in tow. They could sneak out without having to watch a single minute of the show.
