There’s a great deal of treading water, plot-wise, in this episode…despite the fact that it also includes Emily cracking a priest over his head and then framing him for breaking his vows of celibacy. Emily was kind of exceptionally terrible in this outing, but at least she realized it — thanks to her conscience, whom you may know better as the shirtless, shorts-wearing, muffin-baking Nolan.
