I don’t know if I think this dress is exactly successful:
But it DOES make me realize that I am dying to see Taraji in a Catwoman reboot. Actually, I might just want to see this upcoming season of Empire do a plot wherein Cookie gets bitten by a radioactive cat (or whatever; I can’t remember how Catwoman turns into Catwoman but I feel like these origin stories always involve a bite of some sort) and then SHE becomes Catwoman. Can you IMAGINE Cookie Lyon with superpowers? (You know, beyond the ones she already has, which include accessorizing, wordplay, and the inability to suffer fools.) I WOULD WATCH THAT SHOW LIVE.
