# Fug Nation Loves Boots!

I don't know about you, but I am ready to properly transition into my fall wardrobe. It was really hot in Los Angeles again this weekend – we've had a terribly weird October so far; it's also been windy so it feels, as my friend Marissa said, like you're walking into a hair dryer every time you go outside. I'm over it! I am ready to put on a sweater and some boots! (I was at a birthday celebration this weekend and three of us were sincerely gleeful discussing the one day it was cool enough for jeans.) Or, at the very least, I am ready to look at some boots online! 

For my friends who need wide-calf boots *or* narrow-calf boots, I once again remind you that Dolce Vita carries [wide-calf](https://go.shopmy.us/p-95801098?ref=gofugyourself.com), [extra-wide-calf](https://go.shopmy.us/p-95801397?ref=gofugyourself.com), and [narrow-calf options](https://go.shopmy.us/p-95801270?ref=gofugyourself.com). Another PSA that[ Macy's big fall sale runs though October 25, and they've got limited markdowns on boots](https://go.shopmy.us/p-95803384?ref=gofugyourself.com), BUT those markdown do include [their selection of Frye boots.](https://go.shopmy.us/p-95803793?ref=gofugyourself.com) (Including [these combat boots I dig.](https://go.shopmy.us/p-95804104?ref=gofugyourself.com) It's nice to have some shoes you can really stomp around in.) I spent some time looking for lower-priced boots, too – why is everything so expensive? – and [Nordstrom Rack has a bunch of boots in now as well](https://go.shopmy.us/p-95809417?ref=gofugyourself.com), many of which are under $100\. (I think I had [the original version of these Nine West ones in like 2003.](https://go.shopmy.us/p-95810557?ref=gofugyourself.com) They're still so pretty to me!) 

Last year, I wore some M.Gemi combat boots all over the place – the heel was chunky enough that they're easy to walk in – but they aren't making them anymore. We do have an M.Gemi code for 15% off, though – DWB15 – and they're one of the few places where I've seen [an ABSOLUTELY flat knee-high boot.](https://go.shopmy.us/p-95818249?ref=gofugyourself.com) (It's pricy, so that 15% off packs a punch.)
