The “Dr” in Dr. Maaya here, Maaya Orii, is not a joke. The line’s creative director and designer is also A LITERAL PRACTICING NEUROSURGEON! I feel like I can barely empty the dishwasher and here she is, out there performing LITERAL BRAIN SURGERY and also showing at Paris Fashion Week. Jeez! Her collection does stimulate the dopamine centers in my brain (or whatever, you know, the part that makes you happy) so she’s technically doing double duty.
