This chunk of September Issues seems to be from before the September Issue was The September Issue, referenced in hush, reverent tones. However, forgive me, headline police, for I have sinned. I have told you a lie here: The 1910 covers are not included, for the simple reason that they were both hugely boring. They were only words, and not in a WORDS or a WRODS kind of way. So, to compensate, I peeked back a decade and grabbed one at random to plug the hole. So REALLY, this is Vogues from 1906 and then 1911-1940. I hope we can get through this mild deception.
