There seems to have been a misconception that I was a) spiting Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas their love, and b) criticizing them for going outside. I was doing neither. I just didn’t like them getting so close to people (and in the bargain, yes, wondered rhetorically how it is that so many many other celebs in Los Angeles are able to walk their dogs and cuddle without a photographer around to document it; lick each other on your Instagram stories, kids!).
Anyhow, the good news is: This outing appears to have gone fairly safely, with the exception of the occasional awkward gait.
Who among us HASN’T taken an awkward step while walking two dogs and nuzzling for the paparazzi. It’s practically Olympic in its difficulty. Perhaps in Tokyo 2021, they can add it as an event and we will look back and feel sorry that we didn’t realize they were in serious training.
Anyway, everyone here who is not banging apparently kept a six-foot distance, nobody took photos with strangers, and these two still amuse each other enough to pop out to… wait, the local Dunkin’ for iced drinks?!?
Well, let’s assume that went safely too. And that they left the drinks here as an offering for the photographers.
(Also, yes, arranging pap walks right now is still douchey. THAT won’t change.)
