The closing evening of Cannes felt a little lighter on star power than usual. Riley Keough won for Best First Film, for War Pony, but does not seem to have been there to accept it. The Palme d’Or went to Triangle of Sadness, a comedy about an influencer cruise that features Woody Harrelson, but he didn’t come either. Thankfully we have the jury and a few lingering L’Oreal faces to keep things groovy as we bid farewell to another fest.
