I thought you just might want to see these two men looking dapper and elegant to close out your day. Larry looks peppy here, but this premiere had to have been quite bittersweet, given that John Wick 4 star (and good friend of Keanu) Lance Reddick died so suddenly on Friday. Everyone gave extremely sweet statements about him; Keanu’s was particularly poetic. He told AP, “[h]e had such a passion for his work and his craft. He was gracious, he had a dignity to him and a presence. Just to be in his light and to get a chance to work with him, I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.” Honestly, I think if there’s anything we’ve all learned over the last few years, it’s that Keanu Reeves is a real mensch. (If you’re wondering what the blue ribbons symbolize, they represent “solidarity with and support for refugees and displaced people around the world,” and are part of an initiative from UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency’s Coalition.) I will note, however, that for one shining moment, I did believe him to be wearing socks with sandals.
