Uma Thurman's red-carpet stances always amuse the hell out of me. I don't entirely know what she was in the act of doing here, but between the bowed legs and the stumpifying skirt that's one hoop shy of a Civil War tribute, she reminds me of a Madame Alexander doll that's been jammed against its will into this position and then had a stand thrust up its backside. I am sure that's not imminent here, but just in case, RUN, Uma, RUN.
