Bless this mess! I don’t know how it happens that Zosia is pulling off what appears to be a giant vest turned hugely-belted strapless gown, like something from the Dorothy Zbornak Formal Collection For Talbots — and yes that’s the second Zbornak joke in three days; leave me alone — but the truth is that she is. She looks totally fetching, and only very slightly as if it’s something she was talked into wearing by her quirky friend with the misguided fashion line bankrolled by her absentee father. I’m not even kidding: Zosia looks fun in this, and I would totally scrapbook with her and complain about Marnie, then accept her agitated notes about how terrible my scrapbook turned out. I can think of no higher compliment.
