Ordinarily I don’t respond to super high-waisted pants, or neck bows.
But Olivia is totally charming me in this, right down to — and maybe especially because of — the pointy pop of red peeking out from under her hem. It’s a small thing, but it gives this the perfect finish, like remembering to add salt to your food. Good shoes are like good seasoning: Blow it and it leaves you with a bitter taste, but done right, the entire enterprise sings.
