What a dish.
Hot damn, Helen Mirren!
Damn, she’s so hot! I’m going to go eat a salad now and do some core exercises. Really.
She knows those reds work for her. Like wow.
Holy red dress minxie silver fox! I SO WOULD!
Damn. I wish I looked that good NOW, and I’m 29.
I know! I’m 35, and would kick a puppy (gently, with socks on) if it meant I could look half as good at that age.
The accessories are also perfect — necklace, purse, bracelet — gilding the Mirren lily!
That last picture is clearly Dame Helen taunting all of the younger starlets who chose to freeze their foreheads. She looks that good AND all the muscles in her face work. I want to be HM when I grow up….
“Well Played” and “Helen Mirren” are a redundancy, like completely unique or very extreme. She rarely makes a misstep.
Yowza, she looks amazing!
I can only dream to look as good when I’m her age…. I guess I need to put down the chips *sigh* and maybe put on my sneakers
I really hate the in-picture advertising. This is about the fifth post that’s been frustratingly unviewable because the pop-up box is right in the middle of the image. I’m really looking forward to scrolling down the page; I can already see that the next image has at least five of the picks in it. Because apparently I want to buy a flower girl’s dress? (No idea what it is, but I feel like it might be a wedding.)
Ad. Block. Plus. Look into it.
I second the recommendation for Ad Block Plus. I use and while I see an ad or two, I NEVER see the annoying ones.
Firefox is great.
A) if you have issues with ads, please email us, because we can possibly help you. I have said this about 100 times.
B) You can turn off Luminate. See that little icon that’s like two facing brackets at the top left, that says, “Luminate is on”? Click it. A pop-up will come up and you can click on “OFF.” Then you won’t see it anymore.
Thank you for explaining how to turn that off!
I’m not a big fan of the slicked-back hair, but otherwise — as a very wise woman once said on this very site about the bikini shot — holy CATS, Helen Mirren.
Yeah, I liked it from a distance, but up close, the hair looks a bit undone. A little like mine post-workout…
I WANT that necklace!
I feel so inadequate….
I love love love that dress, and she is working it like there’s no tomorrow. What a gorgeous lady.
Dame Helen is awesome. She (and/or her stylists) have a fantastic grasp of colour and shape for her. I love that she’s not all plastic, but isn’t giving up, either.
Love her. I think she recently had a face lift, but so what. She looks fab!
Text book lesson on how to look gorgeous AND sexy, while still wearing an age appropriate and modest dress. All of those young actresses obsessed with transparent dresses showing way too much skin and undergarments should take note.
Yes, exactly! Take note Hally Berry
She epitomises regal, doesn’t she? Mirren rules!
Helen Mirren. The height of everything. So beautiful in that dress that it is unreal.
Jeeze! She’s just gorgeous and this looks amazing, I do kind of always wish she did something more with her hair – but when you look like she does it doesn’t really matter!
GAH! I love her. My most favorite thing about her is that fact that she looks fantastic and yet she still looks herself. Like she has wrinkles and she has expression and I just think that’s great. It pleases me that she is aging so gracefully. Much more gracefully than alot of stars younger than her. (Ahem, looking at you Courtney Cox. Between those Cougar Town ads on TBS and the fact I watch reruns of Friends every night, your over use of botox is quite startling.)
I saw her for a bit on Leno the other night. Put the botox needle down, Courteney.
She is definitely someone to aspire to; in her bearing, her grace, her wardrobe, her joy of life and her obvious exercise regime. The fact that she is breathtakingly beautiful in such a timeless way, is an added bonus. And her husband is a dish, too…:)
Does she have any kids? I wish I had her gene pool!
Can someone please refer Helen Mirren’s stylist to Christina Hendricks?
Ahhhhh yes. This is the one I was waiting for. She looks amazing, her carriage is amazing, amazing woman is amazing.
Her hair is beautiful.
LOVE!!! This woman is MAGNIFICENT! I ADORE HER! This is PERFECTION! Everything is working for her and she’s working all of it! FAB for LIFE!
So gorgeous, so gracious and ladylike, yet gently and appropriately sexy.
Gorgeous! This lady is 67 and a definite role model. God Damn!
She has a pact with the devil to stay looking that good. I should like to see her loft and see where her Dorian grey-esq painting is.
