Cannes Fug or Fab: Dita von Teese in Ulyana Sergeenko

I always assume Dita will be in a deeply Old Hollywood, monochrome satin gown by Zac Posen. So this was a total surprise to me:

Neither this print nor silhouette is something I’d have predicted on her, EVER, and it is NUTTY. Like a lampshade, or a party favor, at the Queen of Hearts’ summer home in Wonderland. You have to eat some really suspicious candy in order to understand what it is, or how to use it. And six hours later you’d wake up with cake in your hair and an Ace of Clubs in your pocket that says simply, “YOU’RE ON,” in unknown writing.

Having said that… I don’t know how, but she’s bringing a bizarre amount of dignity to it. Don’t try this at home.

Cannes amfAR WTF: Diane Kruger

I am not sure there is a wand big enough for her to summon the Diane Kruger Magic here. BUT, on her Instagram, Diane wrote that she knew it wouldn’t be that popular but that she just really digs feathers… before announcing that she is super sick of sheer skirts. WELCOME TO THE PIZZA DISCUSSION, DIANE.

I think Fan BingBing may have won this round. And I may be biased because I love her.

Cannes Fugs and Fabs: Rachel Weisz and Jane Fonda

Rachel Weisz is so pretty, it hurts my face. And Jane Fonda has gone FULL CRACKPOT for this premiere, which is delightful. With bonus Michael Caine.
