I thought you might want to ogle a classic movie star for a little while today. Is that so wrong? Happy birthday, Robert. Thank you for Legal Eagles, the first movie I ever saw you in, which I loved despite the fact that — even as a kid! — I thought it was super creepy that you hooked up with Daryl Hannah’s younger, vulnerable character, AND that everyone basically handwaved it. And thanks for the most RECENT movie of yours that I saw, Up Close and Personal, because it gave us a Celine Dion ballad. Obviously you have a lot of more iconic roles, but let’s be real, the presence of both Celine AND Michelle Pfeiffer makes that one extremely meaningful.
