This is perhaps the most staid thing I’ve seen out of Elie Saab in a while.
It is ALSO the most staid thing I’ve seen on Kate Hudson in a while, so maybe they were just drawn to each other by a common mood. The duster is certainly very beautifully cut, and I like the leather belt with the jumpsuit, but… you know, the jumpsuit is just a plain black strapless foot-eater, and it’s hard to get that excited about it. Especially when she accessorizes it with a necklace that saw its own shadow and is trying to burrow down and declare six more weeks of winter.
