I’ve just spent twenty-minutes holding my laptop up to my face, trying to figure out if that is a necklace on its own — an Eponine accessory, if you will — or it’s part of the dress, before realizing that, DUH, surely the internet has the answer, as it does to all questions. Indeed, Red Carpet Fashion Awards agrees with me that it is an “embellished neckline,” and, y’all, not everything needs embellishment. Certainly, you can argue that without said neckline, this dress would veer to strongly into Nightgown Territory, and yet with it, it rather looks as if she’s been drooling glitter. At least her head looks great?
