To me, this dress feels like a shout-out to Evan Rachel Wood’s amazing 2012 Golden Globes dress:
Albeit topsy-turvy — the bottom here is the scaly bit, with the top all afeather. I’m torn on this. I think I am biased because I find her so very cool, and, indeed, I think she looks cool in this. I just can’t tell if I have Keri Russell-blindness. I mean, I MIGHT. I even think she looks good on The Americans and she’s in turtlenecks and high-waisted pleated pants the entire time.
