21 year old actress by day. Wicked efficient actuary by night.

OMG she looks so much like Alexis Bledel.
super cute, too. i love a good black suit!!!!!!
Awww I miss Rory I haven’t seen her in anything in ages…can she be a long lost daughter put up for adoption on Parenthood?
If someone wore this to office, I’d think they looked fabulous and wonder if they had a job interview lined up.
For a red carpet? Not so much.
She always dresses so sad. It must drive her manager and publicist crazy.
Ms. Wright, you’re hired! Can you start on Monday?
It’s like it’s her first day at work and she wants to be taken seriously so she dresses older.
She looks good.
This is my interview suit, except her pants are too short with those shoes.
Perhaps the Jameson Awards is honoring Britain’s best mortuarian? At least: 1. She smiling. 2. All her bits are covered up. If she fluffed up her hair a little, and wiped off the eyeliner, and wore a nicer camisole, she’d look much better.
True, true, true but she looks great.
Oh come on! It’s not the most exciting thing ever but she looks good.
While the outfit does seem a bit matronly, she looks smart and polished. I think this is the best she’s looked lately!
I have to agree… she looks fine. Awesome? No. But she is combed and covered, that’s a home run these days.
You can see why a young starlet would see the likes of LiLo et. al., and veer precipitously in the opposite direction.
I’m just saying it could be so much worse…
Dunno – she looks great. Saved from total H&R Block by the awesome shoes and eye makeup.
I love the suit, it looks great, but that makeup and hair brings the whole look to its knees, it’s a terrible mess. Lighter makeup, she’s gone to Momsenville and she needs to either tie her hair back better or go for full on volume because that’s what my hair looks like when I go to the gym.
I actually really like the suit, and I think it would have worked on a the red carpet with a more fun pair of shoes. One of the best parts about wearing black is that you can wear pretty much any color shoe you want with it, and don’t have to worry about clashing.
Also, girlfriend needs to back away from the eyeliner. It’s just TOO much here.
Wash her face and she’s good to go. She’s welcome to put some makeup on afterwards, but only if it doesn’t look like what she’s currently wearing. Her lovely eyes deserve much better.
Aw… she looks adorable. If she wore a slightly less bankerish jacket, I would like this. And I hate suits. I also like that her hair is pulled back but not in a severe way. I actually don’t mind the heavy eye makeup. A bit of smoky eye now and then is fun, especially if you’re 21.
At least her pants are hemmed and not eating her feet…
Amen to that!
No probs here. I might like a colored shirt underneath to make it look less like a funeral and because of her coloring, especially her pretty hair, but overall, I approve.
I really appreciate the actuary reference. Superb! The suit would look at tad better with skinny pants and a sparkly colored blouse underneath.
Dina! Please say you’re an actuary! It’d be really cool to know there are others in the actuarial field who enjoy fashion (and GFY).
as a huge GFY fan and the long-suffering child of an actuary, you ladies made my day! Thank you! And it brought to mind the old (bad) joke about an actuary being a mortuary for dead actors…just glad Ginny Weasly is alive and well and rocking her black suit!
Victoria, I’m an actuary and I loved GFY. I enjoyed the reference too. However I’m wearing a bright pink dress at the office as I type; I’m trying to destroy the stereotype one outfit at a time!
Bonus tragic actuarial nerd joke… f(x) and g(x) walk into a bar full of functions. The room is buzzing. Approaching the bar they see a lonely-looking funtion sitting on his own. “Hi” they say “I’m f(x) and this is my friend g(X). Who are you?” He replies “I’m e(x), the exponential function.” They reply “Nice to meet you, but tell us why are you sitting on your own? They bar is full of functions. Why don’t you integrate?”. He say….. “I tried to integrate, but nothing changes.”
another actuary-follower-of-gfy chiming in here!
the make-up is pretty fugly, but I think Ginny looks smart otherwise
At least it fits. And the shoes are cute. But really, the only place she should wear that is a funeral.
I could rock a suit like this! But I’m a lawyer who’d wear it to the office.
Those look like satin lapels. If so, that takes it out of the office.
Really? I couldn’t tell from this picture. Okay, no office suit for me. I guess I just saved a couple of thousand bucks.
It’s a well-fitted suit, but everything is so black and not fun. She’s a very pretty woman – that’s obvious, but it would be nice if she dressed her age, which she doesn’t often do. Or added some color. Or changed her eyeliner. Her hair looks good, though, and I like her necklace.
Too much makeup Bonnie and we can still see your ugly face!. Fugly! Back to Hogwarts!
There is nothing fuglier than comments like this!
In the battle of the black suits, Ginny Weasley is shitting all over Julia Roberts.
I love this look.
It’s fine, but she should let her pretty hair be more visible.
Zzzzzzz & the make up is hideous !!!
I like it!
Ahhhhh, the utter tragedy of lost youth..
how can you tell when an actuary has a personality? she’s not looking at her shoes.
girlfriend has spunk. although black on black on black is a little dreary, even for a life insurance company.
