I do not even get what’s going on with this dress:
It’s so half-assed. I know we make Project Runway jokes a lot, but this seriously looks like what Tim Gunn would call “student work.” I suspect part of the problem is that it’s a hair too small for her — which seems insane, given that I am sure she is teeny, but that front seam is puckering all over the place. It’s just like, ridiculously drab AND it looks poorly made, which is crazy, because it’s Vera Wang.
The back, at least, is interesting:
Maybe she should have worn it backwards.
(Can you imagine? That would have been amazing. With, like, pasties on her nipples. Please, god, let someone do that at the Oscars.)
