It’s a two giveaway week, and we couldn’t be more excited about it. You have until the end of Friday to enter to win a copy of Grace Bonney’s In The Company of Women, and today, you have the chance to win a copy of one of my favorite twisty-turny YA mysteries in years (it’s also gotten starred reviews from Kirkus and Booklist, so I am not alone in this):

Let’s flip the book over and read the back, shall we?

Flynn’s girlfriend, January, is missing. All eyes are on Flynn—he must know something. After all, he was—is—her boyfriend. They were together the night before she disappeared.

But Flynn has a secret of his own. As he struggles to uncover the truth about January’s disappearance, he must also face the truth about himself.

THE TASK:  In the interest of full disclosure and also to best set up this task, I should note that Heather and I have been very good friends with Caleb for years (he is the reason we have a joke about a jug band called Uncle Grandma in Messy) — although I can assure you that my endorsement of this book would have happened even if he’d, you know, heartlessly kicked my grandma out of his jug band. It is, however, why I know for a fact that he LOVES MYSTERIES and so I am asking you: If you were forced to choose your very favorite mystery novel EVER, what would it be?

THE RULES: All entries must be posted in the comments of this post by 9 p.m. Pacific time on Friday.  FYI, if this is the first time you’ve commented here, the system will automatically kick you into comment moderation, but don’t worry, I will rescue you. (Open to residents of the US and Canada only. Thank you!)
