Fugs and Fabs: The Clinique Party

I just hope everyone at this party got a free tube of Black Honey Almost Lipstick, because that stuff is the bomb, and half the time Clinique is out due to said bomb-ness. Stock up, Emily VanCamp!

The Ebankses’ questionable choices aside, a whole lot of well-dones here – clothes and makeup lookin’ good ladies! EVC for the win, though, closely followed by the Keebler Elf.

Emily van camp is pulling off that print with aplomb. Revenge!

Her dress is cute and her makeup looks great, but I’d like to see shoes that are not black. Dare I suggest nude (gasp!), since the colors of the dress are so bold?

Hmm I dunno, I like the black and I like those shoes. But maybe a simple black pump would’ve been better?

Well done for shoes Petra Nemcova and Stacy Keibler, but your outfit as a compilation are not so good:( Katherine McPhee you are shy girl from suburbs or what? Mad Women passed the exam in real life but in the film she failed! Emily VanCamp is the highest time for Revenge maby dress yourself nice?

DOT, am I the only one who has no idea what you’re talking about? :)

That is some major side/under boob that Linda Cardellini’s dress is showing. I’d like it much more with a lot less of that.

The dress isn’t sheer; that’s just the curvature of her body, I believe.

I thought that looking at the small picture, but looking at it full size made me think there’s sheerness going on. Even if it’s just the illusion of visible boob, I’d like the dress better without it.

Yeah, when you blow it up it looks pretty sheer. The wine colour is good on her, but that dress is hiddy.

Also, I think half these women must have been hoping they’d get make-up out of this, because those are some badly applied faces there. Emily Van Camp’s face is two tones off from her neck, the Real Housewife doesn’t appear to be wearing *any*, and Petra and Stacy look like they’re demonstrating the meaning of “opposite” through their lipstick.

It’s weird, I thought the opposite.

I thought it looked sheer in the smaller picture, but in the bigger picture it looked a fully opaque. Go figure…I guess the side panel of this dress is a Rorschach test for side boob.

A couple of duds, but no real fugs, and quite a lot of Very Good here! That’s nice (and refreshing) to see. Maybe Clinique inspires dressing well?

I’ve always been more of a Lancôme lover, but, hmmm…

Ebanks was featured in last season’s ad campaign for Chico’s, so perhaps she got some freebies as part of her deal?

And I actually like Petra’s jumpsuit (I am more tolerant of jumpsuits than the Fug Girls in general). But I do with she would go back to a more natural hair color. Too blonde!

Amen to Black Honey Almost Lipstick being the bomb.

All these glowing recommendations! What the heck, I ordered it.

I just hope it doesn’t melt on the way. 92°F here today…

I have one very fair-skinned orangey-redhead friend who was lamenting her inability to wear lipstick. She went to Sephora to try to find something, and they actually APPLIED FOUNDATION TO HER MOUTH, then fumbled around with various failed attempts, and she walked out terribly sad. When she told me this story, I scoffed, pulled out my Black Honey, and said, “Try this.” She was skeptical, but did, and it was PERFECT.

So yes. The bomb. On everyone!

Yes, Katherine McPhee’s dress is very cute, but those shoes!!! I luurrrve those shoes.

i love how the double ankle straps echo the stripes in her dress. If that is wrong, I don’t want to be right.

Emily VanCamp kills it in that outfit. Hot damn.

Wish you would’ve included Archie Panjabi. I thought she was the best dressed at the event.

McPhee’s shoes are great. Kelly’s are HIDEOUS. And why is there a peekaboo pink bra happening with an otherwise perfect serviceable red dress?

I love the drama that Stacy Kiebler’s shoes bring to a fairly simple black pump design. Really distracted me, in a good way, from the dress she is wearing.

You aren’t kidding about Black Honey. I remembered it being awesome from years ago and decided to try it again. It took two people looking in three different states to find it for me as a Christmas present

WANT McPhee’s dress! Now, please! That might be the cutest thing I’ve seen on here in a long time. She’s beautiful, of course, so not much looks bad on her but still, that dress is amazing.

I think Katharine McPhee *always* has a smug look on her face, and always has, going back to her Idol days. It’s infuriating. Doesn’t take away from the fact that her dress is super-cute, though.

Black Honey Almost Lipstick is the only lipstick-adjacent product I wear. Love that stuff!

You forget that Lindsay Weir was a terrible, tom-boy dresser…I think Cardellini is more Sam Taggart in this photo…
