Fuglotte Ross

Charlotte Ross is confusing to me. I chiefly remember her from Days of our Lives, but most people probably know her from three seasons of NYPD Blue (though I didn’t watch that show, so I had to look it up). But apparently scoring a very sporadic gig on Glee as Quinn’s mother put her on a lot of people’s party lists, because she’s been making the rounds something fierce in the last few years, even though we usually ignore her because we can never remember what she’s doing anyplace.

However, she made it very hard to gloss over her this time.

This is what a deck of cards would look like if it became sentient and opened a brothel.

My mother in law went to a craft auction and found some mittens that she loves – they are made from old sweaters cut apart and sewn back together as mittens. I think this is the dress version of those mittens except the dress is made not just from old sweaters, but old lace curtains, as well.

Are you sure she’s on Glee and not American Horror Story – because that would make an excellent “evil spirit” costume.

Are the top part of her sleeves macramé? Horrible tacky dress, but her face looks nice.

Growing up my mom had a hanging plant thingy that looked exactly like the sleeves so Im going to say yes it it.

I can’t even get past what’s been so very badly done to her face and hair to see the dress properly. She used to be SO beautiful, and if it had all been let alone, she still would be.

Okay, I’m putting my hand over her head and looking at the dress… yes, nice sum-up! A deck of cards as madam, exactly. This is one of those things that makes me wonder how it got made.

Very interesting fabrics…put together terribly. It kinda looks like she’s wearing the remnants bin at Sewing World.

Brothel-keeping Queen of Hearts? Yeah, I can see that, though my original thought was a snake shedding its skin.

I’m seeing ‘queen bee of a mutant hive’ but I also like the cards metaphor.

You know, if we cut off the sleeves and added a liner to the nudie bits, it might be kind of fabulous.

With the sleeves it looks like a ragbag, without the sleeves it’s sort of Erte/Art Deco.

I agree about cutting off the sleeves (starting from that beige seam in the red portion, NOT after the red portion, because the latter would result in the kind of cap sleeves that I despise). I would then go further and remake the dress in a different material (though I don’t mind the velvet parts), but otherwise not change the design. I have been watching a lot of Poirot and I guess I’m in the mood for Art Deco.

I think she looks great face and body wise. It’s a shame she’s camouflaged it all up so badly with her macrame craft project.

Good Lord. It’s a Tribal/Granny/DitaVonTeese/Morticia mashup. PICK ONE

    I totally agree…
Does anyone remember that casino/brothel in Twin Peaks?
Actually, those outfits were kinda pretty, compared to this.

Well macrame has certainly come a long way since 1970′s wall hangings featuring owls on a real branch.

Great if she were cast as the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland–otherwise, just no.

This is super weird. Its like if you took a bunch of books and made a dress out of it; is where my mind is going with this.

See-through macramé. Yikes. Well, Fug Madness is less than three months away, so I guess she has to best (worst?) efforts forward.

I was watching a bad ( but so good) MFTV christmas movie lately, and she was in it, and i spent so long trying to figure out what I knew her from – it was Glee.

Dress is a nightmare, even for someone who is 20, which she is not.

Gown might look better on someone younger. If gown can look better at all.
