She’s at the Melbourne Cup, a racing event much like Royal Ascot in the sense that hats are pretty much a requirement, but leave it to Brynne Gordon-Edelsten — a hot contender to replace the Peldons as GFY mascot — to teach everybody else’s hat a lesson.
I’m not sure what I appreciate more: The seasonally thematic pumpkin-spice leg tan, the paramecia on her dress, or the hat that’s just a few innards shy of a live peacock taking roost in her hair. I suspect more than a few winged beasts in the air around Melbourne are circling overhead and whispering to each other, “I could tap that.”
