Fug the Show: Revenge recap, episode 204

In which Emily brings out her boobs, Jack has A LOT OF PROBLEMS (not the least of which is his wardrobe), and someone falls off a balcony in a very unladylike manner.

Stripper on the right is Jen from Big Brother 8, aka the person Evel Dick spent the entire summer torturing. So good for her getting work, then?

“I’m … having… thoughts.” Made me guffaw out loud at work. Awesome. Emily’s been thrown off her game this season which is good but I think I’m ready for her to kick someone’s ass again.

Nolan’s sad slide about missing primary colors was great! I don’t want to be mean fug nation, but what happened to JJL’s face? She used to be so pretty! I hope this is for plot purposes, as in the white haired man was forcing her to look like crap…

More specifically, what happened to her mouth? She has a perma-frown.

I absolutely adore your Revvvvvvveeeeennngggee recaps, they’re the best.

But I seriously don’t know what happenned with this show… So far the highlight of this season was Fake-Manda falling like a rag doll, and hitting her back and then to the marble floor!!

Did the costume designer changed? Emily was always so classy with her neutrals in the first season, now she’s all “cocktails on a beach, without revenge but with more tits”?

And all the wrong/boring couples that we are suppose to care:

    - Daniel and Ashley
    - Nolan and Padma
    - Emily and Accent-Guy
    - Jack and Comatose-fake-amanda

Is Ashley already sleeping with Conrad? It wouldn’t surprise me…

Yeah “Amanda” falling off the balcony was the high point…. I really didn’t see that coming, I ….was….. having ….. thoughts …….

Your recaps are becoming MORE entertaining than the show.

Love the reference to The Equalizer … I used to adore that show … also, did anyone catch that Victoria decided to throw that baby shower on less than 24 hours notice. Everyone in the Hamptons must be very last-minute planners.

Love the post; and imo, this whole season thus far has been something that tracks with the audience while watching, but they are utterly unable to explain or discuss the plot after the credits roll. So mad kudos to all the recappers out there, especially your hilarity-injected one!

The show seemed to be treading the same path for the past few episodes, but with the return of Kara Clarke — and that juicy reveal at the end — I see potential for Revenge to become a whole new show. I mean, it’s finally moving along and it was actually exciting. I’m really hoping for the best, because so far S2 has been kind of boring and slow.

Love the recap as usual. They make is crazy series even more fun. However, you’ve got a typo in the headline. This is episode 204.

So, is Nolan supposed to be bisexual? It’s fine if he is but that was super random. He totally hooked up (several times) with Daniel’s crazy college friend. Doesn’t anyone remember that? No-one addressed his interest in this chick as being…different.

Last season he said he was about a three on the Kinsey scale. I took that to mean he was bi.

I didn’t think Emily was that well-endowed and then in this episode I was like um where did the baby shower boobs come from?

Just have to put out a theory that Amanda will wake up and inconveniently forget that she and Emily traded identities. Full on Soap Opera greatness. LOVE these recaps! Literally make my work day!

If they’re pushing folks off balconies, I may have to start watching.

Daniel was in the latest issue of InStyle as their “Man of Style.” I literally gasped when I saw his picture. Mouth-breathing be damned, that boy is HOT. And he should back away from Ashley as soon as possible; ain’t no way she’s no longer going to be Conrad’s lackey.

I like Jack and want him to get out from under the burden of the Amanda and dumpy bar storylines. Speaking of which, what happened to the hundreds of thousands of dollars of hush money Emily gave Amanda? She certainly didn’t spend it on wardrobe. Couldn’t she use that to fix the bar if she’s supposedly so invested in being with her baby daddy?

Had to stop on the 2nd slide to say that I had the EXACT same thought about the servants – that was ridic!

Lydia’s fall in season 1 was also epic – this show is amazing – so soapy. Although I felt really sad at first when Amanda fell, I think because she is pregnant (no one likes to see a pregnant lady fall like that!), and also because despite all of my hatred towards her in season one, I’ve mostly felt bad for her this season. And realistically, she’s a better match for jack than Emily…

    REVENGE!

Your line about Jack crying about he and Declan having the worst storyline reminded me of David Spade as Jane Mancini on SNL. “I have the worst part on the whole show!”

I almost fainted when I saw Emily´s dress. Absolutely gorgeous I must say, but I think is the most sexy outfit she has worn in the 2 seasons. Maybe she´s going to the Dark side… Joda already predicted…. Revenge!!!!

“Because She Crazy” – for the win. This is my new go-to line / Twitter hashtag for, well, everything. Thanks, y’all.
