I LOVE THIS SHOW.
I also love that Annie Potts woman. I need a grandmother like that. Not that mine aren’t fabulous in their own ways, but if my grandmother had a gun closet…well, actually, I’d be terrified, but in the coolest way possible.
Best line from the episode! “Mother, you have two guns? What are you afraid of?”
Awesome Annie (Get Your GUn) Potts: “Not a DAMN THING.”
I love how they go power-walking with their long hair still in perfect waves. All that hair on my neck would drive me crazy. Maybe they don’t sweat down there in Texas.
A couple of things: 1) Garden & Gun is a real magazine (based out of Charleston, SC). 2) Despite the title, it’s actually a solid/interesting publication (aside from the occasional hunting feature). Why, yes, I DO want to know where the 50 best bars in the south are – please, tell me more! 3) Your recaps make me want to watch the show so I can giggle even more at the recaps. That may be circular reasoning, but I don’t care.
I have heard that Garden & Gun is secretly really good!
Annie Potts is the best thing about this show and I clapped with delight when the dining room seating chart scene came on with her resplendent in that bedecked, be-bowed chiffon tent.
I am SO SO SO glad y’all are fugging this show. I clapped when the power walking scene came on. Did you see the older ladies who met up with the GCBs on their jog? Neon colored fake Chanel exercise wear and VISORS. I can’t wait till I’m 70.
If that is Cheno’s real hair someone get her some VO5 stat…or maybe it’s just the HD?
Is it wrong that I love this show? The recaps make it even better
If loving this show is wrong, I don’t wanna be right!
Yeah, I’m loving this show. Which means it will probably be cancelled. Because that’s how things go for me.
I <3 Cheno.
Love this show. And as a gal from SC and fan of the G&G, I was excited to see the magazine on the show!
I read “Garden & Gun” all the time. No cheerleading snafus…yet. And…um…we have two gun closets-but both have safes for the guns!
I guess this show is a little close to reality.
How cliche’d…a ridiculous portrayal of Texas women. As native Texans, any women showing up behaving that way and wearing those ridiculous clothes would get her but booted right back to Hollywood. Cheap show & irreverent to the point all involved should be ashamed…if they could understand the concept of shame.
