I suspect this is also the series finale, but a girl can hope. There was a lot to enjoy here, particularly a smart and eminently capable heroine. And on one hand, I understand not making it about romance, because there’s something appealing about watching Peggy not need or really seek a man. On the other, it’s because she’s pining for a dead man they can’t flash back to anymore because it’s too expensive, and I think the show missed having swoony moments to go with all the action. It made for some very samey pacing. Still, I will be sad if this is the last we get of Peggy Carter.
