Well, conceptually, I’m on board with Gina Rodriguez in a cool suit. And she’s got this funky Kristen Stewart-like haircut right now for Annihilation (she also donated her strands to Locks of Love), so it’s stands to reason she’d pair that with a Kristen Stewart-like silhouette.
But for me it faceplants straight into the necktie she’s tied into a dinner-plate-size bow. The suit doesn’t look very well-made, it’s eating her neck, the shoe platform is clunky… Further, I think she needs either a SUPER smoky eye, or a red lip; as-is, her face looks like she forgot to finish. In other words: a game stab, but not so much Chanel as Charlotte Russe.
