This is a very eye-catching, very unusual, very weirdo dress and she wore it out on a night when basically there are NO OTHER EVENTS, meaning that all of us red carpet bloggers are going to have to get around to covering her sooner than later. All that said, I would have written about this regardless. My first instinct was, “I could see this on Elizabeth Banks,” and whether that’s a compliment or not, I suppose, depends on your take on Banks. Me, I consider it a compliment. Take this as my Christmas gift, Shelly.
