When I first saw this dress on Rashida Jones, I thought it was adorable:
(Although I did think those shoes were a random choice. But, you know, Shoe Problems happen. Maybe the shoes she was PLANNING to wear with this, um, spontaneously combusted.) But I also thought the skirt was one solid piece, rather than a red skirt surrounded by, like, a box hedge of pink. And I am generally of the belief that box hedges need to be confined to one’s garden maze and not allowed to drift onto your lap.
The metaphor went a little weird on me. Let’s just move on….
