This plays as the harder-edged version of the gold Marc Jacobs that Dakota Johnson just wore.
I’m not sure I have that many feelings about the dress itself, but I also don’t think I’m necessarily meant to, as it’s been carefully styled for that Fancy Courtney Love vibe. The jacket is as much a part of this as the gown, as is the thick, semi-frizzy hair. I think it all actually works pretty well on her, and at least seems more fully thought-out and confident than Dakota’s.
This picture amuses me greatly. It’s like they imported Jane’s wax figure and Jessica snuck up behind it for a quick pic to put on Instagram.
