I realize this is partly sheer, and therefore something I would generally reject on the Pizza Principle.
But, much as with jumpsuits, I have to accept that the trend isn’t going away. I need to find versions I can live with, and this, I can certainly handle. It’s funky, it’s pretty, it’s well-styled, and it’s really more the SUGGESTION of sheer above the knee — like how you can’t always see a person’s body properly if they’re in a deep enough swimming pool. The effect is gentle. Like the shark in the movie, perhaps, I’ll bite.
(“Perhaps she did feed the shark her underskirt,” I murmured as I hit publish.)
