Having watched and recapped How To Get Away With Murder, I think the fact that it’s such a hit and yet so freaking problematic IS getting away with murder. But it’s hard to be mad that Viola Davis won a People’s Choice Award, because she’s so classy. I have some issues with Annalise Keating being one-dimensional, but Vi can cruise a bit longer on the tide of goodwill she created by suggesting — and then performing — She Rips Off Her Wig (And Her Eyelashes And Removes All Her Makeup). Hopefully the writers can fix the other things.
