This is terribly messy.
It’s the scene I WISH someone would put in a rom-com: The heroine is given a hideous dress and she stares at it for a second and says, “Okay, I can make the best of this,” and takes to her scissors and needle, and then two hours later she comes down the stairs to the party… and everyone is like, “Wow, no, you actually made that worse. Never do that again. You have no skills.”
