The last time we saw Columbus Short, he’d just been booted off Scandal, having pled guilty to domestic violence and admitting he had issues with drugs and alcohol. He’s worked since then, but this is the first time I’ve noticed him on the red carpet (in a movie with the unfortunate tie-in title American Violence, in which Denise Richards plays a “world renowned psychologist,” so consume at your own risk). Here’s hoping his cheerfully bright outfit is a sign that he’s in a healthy place. Honestly, I’m not sure I’d have recognized him. That is one heck of a blouse. He’s like a combination of Nick Cannon and Steve Sanders from this season of 90210:
I always think of Steve in red shirts or tank tops, so I forgot he was the master of the graphic button-down:
