So, maybe I’m nutty, but something about Demi Moore here is starting to remind me of another Posen fave: Katie Holmes.
I don’t know what it is, exactly; it just struck me there for a moment. Anyway, it’s meaningless, so let’s move on to the outfit. It’s not bad, right? I realize that’s a very lukewarm statement to make, but… I don’t know, for some reason I’m always pleasantly surprised when Demi Moore looks pulled together. I think it’s because we don’t see much of her, and every so often a story will sneak into the tabs that she’s acting a little wonky — and whether it’s true or not, that plus the absence makes me worry. Plus, she’s starting to get that Wino Forever skittish look in her eyes, as if she’s not totally comfortable being out in the open and might dash off again in a second if Zac doesn’t keep a grip on her hip. So yeah, this is very simple, and it’s not a dress I will remember much of tomorrow, but for now she’s carrying it off and she’s not drenched in sheers and she’s HERE and looks well and so I’ll call it a victory. Not a transportive one, sure, but they don’t all have to be. Even a 6-3 score in football is technically a win, albeit perhaps not for viewers, so that’s a bad analogy. MOVE ALONG.
