Rumer Willis: actress, occasional singer, full-time celebuspawn…
… animal chew toy?
It’s practically camouflage. It’s quilted for absorbency. It’s awkward and weird. Doing the math, I have no choice but to conclude that Is Drew Barrymore wearing a modified Hunting Slanket.
Thank you for bringing the crazy. Never leave us.

I’m sure now is not an easy time to be a Moore-Willis spawn, since Demi is… doing I’m not sure what. But I had hoped one of those things at least might be popping in to give Rumer some advice on what to do with her hair, or why wearing a swobe to a pool party is weird.

I’m impossibly excited for this to return, and will be very disappointed if it isn’t openly deranged; totally uneven, to the point where it’s both awful and amazing within the same hour; full of Jessica Lange and Chloe Sevigny going toe-to-toe on-screen, because they are two people who can turn pretty much any script into watchable TV. In fact, I like to think the Sev’s dress here is illustrative of the Ryan Murphy oeuvre: Compulsively watchable even when it might be a train wreck.

Yet another event where people look like they’re going to totally different parties — which is secretly one of my very favorite things when it comes to celeb events. I mean, we’ve all been invited to something where they make the dress code something that is essentially meaningless (“cocktail picnic!” “formal hoe-down!” “festive business!”) but you’d think these things would be more clear cut. I mean, “GALA” is right there in the name of the event.
