As Heather noted last week, Gwen really IS ageless. And she’s DEFINITELY going through a Madonna phase.
She does look great but she is not ageless. She just has a very talented beautydoc who really knows what he’s doing.
I agree, Megan. She looks great, but different, leading me to believe she had some “work” done. Anyway, I love the sparkly houndstooth jacket.
Her nose looks different…
Her nose does look different, but not in a horrible Michael Jackson way. I think she looks amazing and I would like the name of her doctor for my own nose job, tummy tuck, but implants and eye lift.
Looks all fab to me. I see the point about the band at the waist, but I really think it’s just an unfortunate shot. And an odd position leading to said unfortunate shot.
Gwen, overall awesomeness notwithstanding, has a tendency to contort herself in some strange ways while singing. I can’t blame the outfit for that.
I think the band belongs to the “shirt,” but I’m not sure. I’m not a big fan of the shade of yellow hair (see K-dollar-sha), but Gwen seems to make it work for her. I’m a little transfixed by the Mohawk guy next to her…..
Yeah Adrian (mohawk guy) is wearing what seems to be a formal clown suit.
Yawn – been there, seen that – many, many, many times. It is very hard to be original – so I give props to Gaga sometimes for pulling something cramazing out of her Haus.
That jacket looks like a heavier version of Biel’s tunica.
Not a fan of the visible bra or DOUBLE giant crucifixes, but the first jacket is stunning, not many can wear it.
I much prefer the second jacket, now THAT is a work of art — jeweled houndstooth? Brilliant. And a beautiful design and cut.
That first jacket reminds me of the Pearly Band in “Mary Poppins” and since I love “Mary Poppins” it makes me happy.
That’s exactly what I thought. She looks like a pearly queen. Was she singing “my old man’s a dustman”? Also, who’s the fella impersonating a spring onion (first shot, Gwen’s left)?
Old Eyeliner McMohawk is still bringing the wtf over on stage right there, I see.
That first jacket is amazeballs. I want one. I’ll wear it to brunch with Grandma. I’ll wear it everywhere.
That was my take on it as well. I wouldn’t wear it like this, but it is pretty awesome.
I also feel the same way about the second one.
I’m also not sure how it’s “Madonna” – other than the bearing of the bra, and that’s a pretty standard in current style with all the sheer, and not exactly something I consider completely out-of-style for her. She’s always been a bottled blonde, as well. It’s not like she’s all-of-a-sudden channeling the Material Girl – she’s always had her own style going.
She looks appropriately Hot Sexy Rock Star. I like it all. Not that I’d ever wear any of it…but I’m not a hot sexy rock star.
I love both outfits! I want to buy a pair of flat sandals I like at a very expensive store that look exactly like that 1st jacket! And the exposed bra, the leather pants, the rocking stilettos, the red lips and all that awesome jewelry is so Gwen and I LOVE IT! Plus, the performance outfit is so much fun and she pulls it off brilliantly… I love that jacket! FAB FOR LIFE!!!
She’s a Pearlie!
Oh, please, let the old Pearlies look come back into fashion.
She looks like a hunk of rococo architecture in that first thing; as for ageless, well her face hasn’t moved in the last 15 years, so it’s hard to get wrinkles. Plus, I feel like she’s kind of been 40 forever (and I think she’s 43? now).
She looks great but I’m getting really tired with looking at people and wondering how old they are actually because they’ve been around for quite a while and they could be anything from mid twenty to mid forty. I found it quite refreshing seeing a picture of Kate Winslet who has actual real wrinkles. Ok, back to the subject, I really like Gwen’s pearly jacket. It’s perfect for this time of the year, it looks very festive and I mean that as a compliment.
I’ve never seen a bad photo of Gwen.
Am I the only one tired of this will Balmain line?
