Allow me to be honest: I don’t hate this as much now as I did when I first saw the photo. I mean, yes, there is a lot going on. It might be a skootch too big on her? The belt is in a place that sort of interrupts the transition between the pattern at the top, and the one on the rest of the dress — like an ad for the Shake Weight in the middle of a TV airing of The English Patient. I feel shook from my reverie by that belt. Buuuuuut this also feels like Primo Crazy Old Lady gear and you know how I feel about Crazy Old Lady gear: I love it.
